We're unable to check you in online. This may be due to an issue with our system, or restrictions from your travel destination. This doesn't affect your holiday booking. Simply head to the TUI check-in counter when you arrive at the airport. Our TUI team will check your travel documents, collect your bags and issue your boarding passes.

• If you’ve upgraded to Premium, Extra Legroom seats or Extra Space seats, or chosen the Select Your Seat option, online check-in will open 14 days prior to your departure. If not, it’ll open 48 hours prior to your departure. Just so you know, in either case, you’ll need to check in for your outbound and inbound flights separately. With the exception of Mexico, Jamaica and Costa Rica where check-in does not open until 24 hours before departure.
• Online check-in closes six hours before your flight departure time.
• By checking in, you’ll automatically check in everyone on your booking.
• If you haven’t purchased a seating upgrade, then you’ll automatically be allocated standard seats at this time.
• Please note that all seat selections are subject to availability and restrictions.
• Once you’ve checked in, you can print off your boarding pass to use at the airport security gate or download mobile boarding passes through the TUI app. However, if you’re travelling to US or Thailand, you’ll need to take this to the bag-drop desk at the airport and collect your boarding pass before you go through security gate.
• Your boarding pass or confirmation of check in will open in a new window.
• Once you’ve checked in, you can return to this My Booking page to reprint or resend your boarding pass or confirmation of check in at any time.

• If you’ve purchased Select Your Seat your seat map will be open and you can choose your seat number 90 days before your return flight.
• If you’ve purchased Premium, Extra Leg or Extra Space seats, they can be chosen at any time after booking your holiday.
• Seat upgrades are available to buy from 2 days before your flight out and up to 6 hours before you fly. You can also upgrade your seats at any time via TUI or First Choice or by contacting your travel agent.
• Even if you’ve already selected your seat numbers, you still need to check in so we can confirm your seat requests. Click on “more info” under the check-in button on this page to find out more about online check-in.
• All seat selections and upgrades are subject to availability and restrictions.

Warning: You have selected an Extra Space Seat

Seats with Extra Space: These are close or next to emergency exit doors, behind a bulkhead or behind a dividing wall. Emergency exit row seats are only available to passengers who are able to move quickly and operate the emergency exit without difficulty if necessary in line with European Aviation Safety Authority (EASA) regulations. Just a few things to bear in mind before you book an emergency row seat. Any passenger who because of:
- physical or mental impairment or disability
- age or sickness
- physical size
have difficulty moving quickly cannot sit in these seats. Neither can anyone:
- under the age of 12 on TUI Airways flights and under 16 on other carriers (whether accompanied or not)
- who requires an extension seatbelt
- under the influence of alcohol
- travelling with an assistance animal

These regulations have been put in place by the European Aviation Safety Authority (EASA) and are for the safety of our passengers. The cabin crew have the final say and we kindly ask that their decisions are respected.
